Redesigned from the ground up, our latest version is more flexible than ever with modular components that you can configure to meet your training needs. Compliant in all fifty states, the course modules meet specialized state and role-based requirements while featuring cinematic quality, engaging videos, practical instruction, and multiple types of questions to measure learners’ knowledge, beliefs, and attitudes around desired workplace behaviors.

The course is comprised of core and optional modules. Employers can select and deploy modules based on the organization's compliance and workforce needs.

    • Module 1: Hostile Work Environment

      This module illustrates a clear example of hostile work environment sexual harassment and what to do if about it. It also models how to be an upstander. It enables learners to:

      • Speak up about inappropriate behaviors
      • Seek support from management or HR
      • Be an upstander rather than a bystander

      Running Time: 19 minutes

    • Module 2: Third-Party Hostile Work Environment (Optional)

      This module illustrates a clear example of hostile work environment sexual harassment from a customer and what to do if about it. It enables learners to:

      • Speak up about inappropriate behaviors that come from a non-employee
      • Seek support from management or HR

      Running Time: 5 minutes

    • Module 3: Hostile Work Environment When Not the Target

      This module illustrates how hostile work environment can occur even when the conduct is directed toward someone else. It enables learners to:

      • Speak up about inappropriate behaviors even when they are not the direct target
      • Seek support from management or HR
      • Filter their own behaviors for the workplace and remind other to do the same if they forget

      Running Time: 9 minutes

    • Module 4: Quid Pro Quo

      This module illustrates an example of quid pro quo sexual harassment and what to do about it, if targeted. It enables learners to:

      • Speak up about inappropriate behaviors
      • Seek support from management or HR

      Running Time: 12 minutes

    • Module 5: Harassment and Abusive Conduct (Optional, Coming Soon)

      This module teaches learners to recognize other forms of harassment and abusive conduct.

    • Module 6: Becoming an Upstander (Optional, Coming Soon)

      This module provides strategies for becoming an upstander and overcoming the bystander effect (a common barrier to becoming an upstander) when witnessing unwelcome sexual conduct or demeaning conduct based on gender.

    • Module 7: State Specifics

      This module provides state-specific definitions, recourse, reporting, remedies, and other state-mandated specifics required by DE, IL, ME, NY/NYC, and WA, as well as state-specific information pertinent to your organization in CO, MA, MD, TX, VT, and the District of Columbia.

    • Module 8: Handling Inappropriate Conduct and Complaints (For Managers)

      This module teaches managers how to reinforce professional boundaries, how to stop inappropriate conduct before it rises to the level of illegal harassment, and how to handle a complaint when someone brings one forward. It enables managers to:

      • Establish and reinforce expectations for professional conduct
      • Seek support from HR when handling a complaint

    • State and City Options

      • In the U.S., there are 7 states and two cities that require training for the private sector: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois/Chicago, Maine, New York/NYC, and Washington State (for specific employees). Each of these has a specific Once & For All solution that meets requirements.
      • Colorado, Washington DC, Maryland, Massachusetts, Texas, and Vermont do not mandate training; however, they have passed harassment laws that impact employers in those states and the District of Columbia, so they also have a state-specific version.
      • The general version of Once and For All applies to all non-compliance states.
    • International Options

      • Once & For All eLearning is also available for international companies or organizations with both domestic and international locations.
        • In the Once & For All Canada courses, all U.S. and federal references have been removed, and the Canada Labour Code definition of sexual harassment has been included
        • In the Once & For All Europe/International courses, all U.S. and federal references have been removed.
      • At this time, international courses are available in English only.

    Course Details

    The course is divided into five separate modules.

      • Module 1: Quid Pro Quo

        Enables learners to: 

        • Know the definition of quid pro quo as a form of sexual harassment.
        • Recognize what to do if they’ve been harassed, are uncomfortable by someone's conduct, or are retaliated against.
        • Understand the legalities of quid pro quo workplace sexual harassment.
        • Seek support from management or HR.
        • Acknowledge the reasons why employees may be afraid to speak up.
        • Feel like they can speak up about inappropriate behaviors and know the importance of being part of the solution.
        • Understand the potential job implications of submitting to or rejecting quid pro quo sexual harassment.

        Training time: 14 minutes

      • Module 2: Hostile Work Environment

        Enables learners to: 

        • Know the definition of a hostile work environment and how it impacts the workplace.
        • Be motivated to build a culture of respect in their workplace.
        • Recognize how to stop inappropriate conduct before it becomes sexual harassment.
        • Speak up to the offender when conduct of a sexual nature makes them uncomfortable.
        • Be an upstander and show support to colleagues who are experiencing unwelcome conduct.
        • Speak to a manager or HR if they have been harassed, made uncomfortable by someone's conduct, or retaliated against.

        Training time: 16 minutes 

      • Module 3: Hostile Work Environment from a Third Party

        Enables learners to: 

        • Know the definition of sexual harassment from a third party.
        • Recognize if they are a target of demeaning conduct based on gender or unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature from a third party.
        • Speak to a manager or HR if they have been a target of unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature by a third party.

        Training time:  6 minutes

      • Module 4: Hostile Work Environment When You're Not the Target

        Enables learners to: 

        • Know the definition of a hostile work environment when you’re not the target of the sexual harassment.
        • Accept that their words and actions can have an impact beyond their intent.
        • Filter what they say and do to help ensure their behaviors are respectful.
        • Speak to a manager or HR if they have witnessed unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature or retaliation.
        • Recognize behaviors that foster a respectful work culture.

        Training time: 5 minutes

      • Module 5: Stopping Inappropriate Conduct and Handling a Complaint (Managers Only)

        Enables learners to: 

        • Stop inappropriate or demeaning conduct, or conduct that is sexual in nature, when they become aware of it.
        • Be a proactive leader and encourage team members to be upstanders instead of bystanders.
        • Communicate clear standards that promote a respectful work environment and convey that sexual harassment is not tolerated in the workplace.
        • Know the steps for handling employee complaints and reporting them to HR.
        • Understand the liability of managers for sexual harassment in the workplace and know the consequences of ignoring or dismissing complaints of inappropriate conduct.
        • Realize the importance of limited confidentiality and protection from retaliation for complainants.
        • Understand the manager's role in handling complaints against non-employees.

        Training time: 15 minutes

      Manager Course

      Because of the critical role managers play in stopping sexual harassment, the manager version of Once & For All includes all of the content in the employee version plus a 15-minute Stopping Inappropriate Conduct and Handling a Complaint module. The course covers:

      • The manager’s role in creating a culture of respect—becoming a proactive leader.
      • Understanding how to handle employee complaints and the consequences of ignoring complaints.
      • Communicating the expectation that sexual harassment and inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated in the workplace.
